Online tests powered by Profiling for Success

What is the aim of Dr Test? The aim of Dr Test™ is to take each of the current University Admissions Tests and to introduce you to powerful extra practice material: some free, some for which a charge is made – but all of which will help you to improve your test performance.

Who compiled Dr Test? Dr Test has been put together by Dr Mark Parkinson. He is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and assessment specialist. He helps organisations select high performing employees, and also assesses candidates for expensive and lengthy training programmes.

As a test designer he is the author or co-author of a number of tests and questionnaires, including elements of the Morrisby Vocational Guidance Service (the UK’s most popular careers guidance test system), Course Finder (the Higher Education course choice questionnaire), and a variety of other careers and development orientated assessment tools.

He has designed assessment programmes for use in ‘high stakes’ situations, such as military and civilian pilot selection; and more recently has been involved with developing online tests. He also advises a number of universities on selection issues.

Mark is a well-known writer on psychological matters and is the author of the best-selling How to Master Psychometric Tests (Kogan Page), amongst other titles.

What is Profiling for Success (PfS)? The PfS practice tests recommended by this website are professionally produced psychometric tests, versions of which are already used by the careers services of 26 universities.
